Venus was purchased
at Showstopper II 2001. She was owned
by Stan and Dawn Benz of Bell Buckle TN.
Venus placed 4th in
the Alabama
Boer Goat Show, 24 May 2003, Cullman,
AL in the 3 to 4 year old class. This was
her first show since she was a baby.
We took Venus to the
2003 U.S.
Nationals, Tunica, Mississippi
- July 3-6, 2003, International Boer
Goat Association, Inc. She showed in the
3 to 4 year old Senior Fullblood Doe class.
I personally thought she should have won,
but...
She looked better than
some, but some of those 'Show String Does'
were just too much for her. We had
the extreme luck to get Dawn Benz to show
her for us.
The Southern
Middle Tennessee Boer Goat Show and
Sale in Lewisburg, TN, October 10 2003,
Venus placed 2nd She thought she should
have been first, but was beaten by her older
full sister.
In 2004, Venus
finished fifth in the Senior Doe Class,
Alabama
Open Market & International Boer Goat
Sanctioned Show, Cullman, AL. May 29,
2004.
USBGA
Talking Boer Goat Show, Huntsville,
AL, Venus took 1st place Senior Doe over
4 years, Grand Champion Senior Doe and Reserve
Grand Champion Doe.
Lewisburg
TN 2004, IBGA Goat Show. Venus took
a fifth place in the Senior Doe over 4 years
old, 9 Oct, 2004.
Cedar
Country Fall Classic, Nov 6, 2004 -
Reserve Champion Senior Doe rosetta for
Venus.
Alabama
Open Market & International Boer Goat
Sanctioned Show, Cullman, AL. May 28,
2005, with two nursing six week old doelings,
Venus takes a third.
At the 3rd
Annual IBGA Goat Show in Lewisburg,
Venus took a fifth place in the Senior Doe
class.
USBGA
Cedar Country Fall Classic 2005, was
our last show of the season. Venus, our
now five year old brood due, took a first
place in the over Five Senior Doe Class,
and looked as good as she has ever looked
in the ring.
Upper
Cumberland Goat Producers' Association USBGA
Spring 2006, Crossville, TN, Venus took
a first place in the over Five Senior Doe
Class.
Venus took a 2nd in a class of 6 at the
Alabama
Open Market and IBGA Sanctioned Show,
May 27, 2006.
Venus took a 2nd at the IBGA Upper
Cumberland Goat Producers Assoication
Goat Show, July 29, 2006 and stood for Reserve
Champion Senior Doe.
Venus took a 4th at the IBGA Wilson
County Fair, in a class of 13.
Venus won her senior class then won Grand
Champion Senior Doe at the USBGA Show at
the Cumberland
County Fair.
