Star Topaz participated in her first ever goat show in Cullman AL, 24 May 2003 and had a top ten finish.  She had just turned 4 months old and was in the under 6 months class.   While she did not especially enjoy her bath, shampoo, blow drying, hair styling and pedicure, she tolerated it.  Having only been on a lead a couple of time, she was not happy circling the ring.  In a class of 19 goats, she placed 9th and we were tickled. 

At 2003 U. S. Nationals, Tunica, Mississippi - July 3-6, 2003, International  Boer Goat Association, Inc. Topaz showed in the 3 - 6 month old Fullblood Doe class - a class of over 75 goats.  Although she did not place, we felt she was as good as most of the goats, better than some and not as good as others.  We were pleased.

The Southern Middle Tennessee Boer Goat Show and Sale in Lewisburg, TN, October 10 2003, Topaz was in a class of 21 very looking goats and came in 6th.
